was initially issued with a limited edition lenticular hologram
sleeve
The
lyrics to "What's Really Happening" were the result
of a competition Bowie launched via his web site. Fans were invited
to submit lyrics and the winner was brought into the studio in
New York to see Bowie record the song and also to supply backing
vocals. They also won a fee for the song rights.
The
French Limited Edition Box Set of 'hours...' contains a bonus
disc featuring 'We All Go Through'
and a video of the making of 'hours...'
The Japanese issue features 'We All Go Through' as an extra track (no.11)
A Canadian Promo release (or 'retail sampler' as it says on the CD sleeve) entitled
"Hours & Brilliant Minutes" contains tracks from 'hours...' aswell as some tracks from
Bowie's other studio albums (14 tracks in total)
The vinyl
picture disc release of this album is a fake, produced to supply
the demand for vinyl
